I had reserved a rental @ Denver airport & when I arrived 2 different employees - behind the counter - refused to help me, saying wait for the 'pick-up' person. One was doing nothing & the other was chatting w/ a fellow employee.

They charged me over $200 for fees (not counting taxes) including over $6/day for toll service, which I only needed for one day. They lied and said I could call and cancel the toll service but when I called to cancel, they said it must be done in person. Several other car rental agencies (Fox, Hertz) have charged the actual toll amount & a small administrative fee. On closer inspection of the charges, I was charged 2 fees they had not mentioned.

Plus they harassed me for not taking optional insurance. I will never rent from Dollar (or Thrifty) again.

Monetary Loss: $165.
