Billing problems

The front desk salesperson will click on all add on sale items on his computer screen to your car rental and will not even tell you about it. Wouldnt print the charges for you to see it before you pay ! He will just rush you to put your credit card into the pad and have you sign and charge you! Only then he will print your ticket and throw it to you like a robot will tell you the parking lot number where you will find the make and model vehicle( not the one you was promised on the app or website you prepaid a lot of money for) ! You most likely will end up paying double insurance charge all bunch of other made up additional charges like road side premium and toll service that should be provided free of charge anyway. At the end you will be charged $ 350 combined between your original reservation on Hopper or similar apps and Dollar for not even full two days of rental in my case day and a half! Rip off big time!!! Stay away !!! User's recommendation: Do not rent from Dollar or Hertz all together … bad business !!!

Poor service when checking in for rental car

We waited to get a rental car that we reserved back in early November today on June 3rd for two hours and 40 minutes. Only to customer service reps checking in people with three deep in a row waiting to be waited on. Never again will I use dollar rental car!!

User's recommendation: Don’t use dollar.

Dissatisfied

Waited three hours to get car . Paid for upgrade for 2023 Chevy Camaro convertible . Convertible did not work . Employees gave us a lesser older mustang could not find the keys . Third car was old dirty and smelled , 2020 mustang Outside was beat up . Was not worth the upgrade but was not going to waste 3 more hours on trying to get money off . Very dissatisfied paid way to much for a *** car .

Missing item not being listed or recorded as found

On Friday evening between 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm I returned my rental of a Terran with Florida plates record # 37106****. I drove accross town onmy way to Show Low and realized I left my laptop bag with my laptop and other finacial docs in the front under the dash on the floor. It was too late to get someone at the counter so I decided to stay overnight and not return until morning . I returned and the morning lot staff was fantastic trying to help me find the vehicle and recover my property. We found out that the vehicle had been removed from the property for cleaning. I subitted a formal report online. I have checked the website every hour and not one update , further the local numbers all provided to me, looked up online and furnished in your lost and found section . Not one number is valid. My intention is to try and resolve this by having a human call me, text me or email me in respinse to why the item is not logged in and where this is at. Its my understanding that Dollar has a formal process in which to turn in, log and reasonably reunite the items to the rightful owner. If this laptop and all the finacial documents are not tecovered and made available for me to recover , it means point blank that whoever cleaned the vehicle , drove the vehicle to get cleaned or any personel involved in that vehicles possession and access to the interior from 8pm to 8am when I left after trying to recover it, it was stolen and I intend on pursuing this with law enforcement as theft the checks in that bag are alone $7000 and that by law is a serious criminal offense that I will pursue fully. I am not trying to be hostile or difficult, I just cant get any real communications and that is leaning me in the direction that i am getting a run around or being dismissed.

OVER CHARGE

Hello, Car rental is 05/05/2023 6:30 pm to 05/06/2023 6:30pm I return my car at 05/06/2023 6:30pm.when I drop the key they took me just drop off the key at the counter,they will take care that.but after I saw my bill they charge me two day they check me out at 05/07/2023 9:30am I need my refund extra charge one day . I have approve to show you I am drop off car at 05/06/2023 6:30 because I call Uber to pick me up .
