Dollar Rent A Car

First off I get there,, and they dont have the vehicle I rented., they give me an electric vehicle- right off the bat its only 75% charged. The vehicle said 197 for 75% ,, it last 100 miles - my destination is 77 miles from the airport,, speakers blown in vehicle.

Takes 6 hrs to get the car charged to 75% ,, so had to spend 18 hrs in my first day and half of vacation. Called very next morning and was advised to exchange it they cant bring replacement. So had to drive 77 miles- stop twice to charge,, get there and theres 12 people ahead of me exchanging their electric rentals.. advised 8 hrs and 12 before me.

So asked to cancel reservation and full refund,, and was told Id have to call capital one- had to get another suv through different place,, and spent an hour waiting on capital one to be told to call dollar- 3 hrs later after being dropped over and over again on different departments ,, I am told to go to website .. DONT RENT

No hay una atención cualificada para atendernos profesionalmente como otras empresas. Muy decepcionados con Dollar.

no voIvería a alquilar con ellos y no se lo recomiendo a nadie. Espero como mínimo una disculpa y solucionar el caso antes de entrar en disputa judicial.

I rented a car in 9/2023. I made the reservation on line and paid for the rental w Amex.

Dollar did not have an economy car, just an SUV. I took what I was given, and filled tank upon return, confirmed by garage staff. When Amex bill came, Dollar charged me almost double for what I already paid. There is too much to type, but the dispute was resolved in concert w collections, and now I just got a call from collections that Dollar wants another $232.38, but I paid what I owed.

Issues were documented like the fact that Dollar charged me the price of renting an SUV. Agent said I requested it. I am a retired boomer with no debt. I pay my bills.

I need to speak w corporate about this error, sending me to collections. I resent that you have no live customer service.

FOR MY TRIP TO PHOENIX I DID MY CAR RESERVATION ON OCTOBER 30TH IN THE SITE QEEQ.COM AND IN THAT SAME MOMENT I PAID WITH MY AMEX 207 DLLS, AND IT WAS STABLISHED ON THE PICK UP MOMENT I HAD TO PAID TO DOLLAR RENTAL CAR 57.01 DLLS ONLY. SO,ON NOV 24TH 2023 I ARRIVED AT DOLLAR RENTAL CAR COUNTER ON PHOENIX AIRPORT, I SHOWED MY PRINTED RESERVATION TO DE LADY, AT THE BEGINING SHE DIDNT FIND MY RESERVATION, SHE ASKED ME IF I JUST DID!

BECAUSE SHE DIDNT HAVE IT ON THE SISTEM, AND SHE KEEPT LOOKING AND OHHH I FOUND IT!!

(SHE SAID) THEN SHE TOLD ME THAT MY CAR WAS TOO SMALL THAT I SHOULD HAVE A BIGGER ONE CAUSE IT DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE ON THE TRUNK FOR MY SUITCASES, I ASKER HER THE PRICE AND IT WAS OVER 100 DLLS PER DAY, WICH I SAID NO, THAT I ONLY HAD CARRY ON LUGGAGE, SO THEN KIND OF RUDE, SHE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO BUY AN INSURANCE IF I WANT TO GET THE CAR, I TOLD HER THAT I HAVE FROM AMERICAN EXPRESS INSURANCE CAR, THAT I DONT WANT IT, AND SHE AGAIN TOLD ME THAT "YOU HAVE TO GET AN INSURANCE IF YOU WANT THE CAR".

AGAIN TOLD HER THAT IN AMEX THEY TOLD ME THAT I DONT NEED TO GET AN INSURANCE FROM THE RENTAL COMPANY CAUSE I HAVE IT CAUSE MY CREDIT CARD.

SO AT THE END I HAD ALMOST OVER 400 DLLS IN ADDITIONALS CHARGES WHERE I ONLY SUPPOSED TO PAID THEM ONLY 50 DLLS ACCORDING TO QEEQ.COM (WHERE I DID MY RESERVATION)

WHEN I RETUR THE CAR BACK AT DOLAR I ASKED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN CHARGE AND TOLD THEM ALL WHAT IS ALREADY DETAILED UP HERE, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY UNDERSTAND BUT THAT I HAD TO CALL TO CUSTUMER SERVICES WICH I DID, AND I WAS OVER 3 HRS TRYING TO SOMEONE FROM CUSTUMER SERVICES GOT MY COMPLAIN AND BY THE TIME I GOT TO THE REFUND PART THEY HANGED UP ON ME, ALL OF THEM... I HAD TO GET ON MY PLANE BACK TO MEXICO AND I COUNLD NOT SINCE THEN CONTACT TO DOLLAR COMPANY IN US.
